'Tis the season, have you been Naughty or Nice?

The legend of Santa Claus keeping track of who is naughty or nice is rumored to have started through some comparisons to the god Odin of Norse Mythology, although there is no confirmation. The naughty and nice list however became most popular after the famous Christmas song Santa Claus is Coming to Town where the lyrics proclaim that Santa is making a list, and checking it twice; gonna find out who's naughty and nice. The song was written by Haven Gillespie and J. Fred Coots and was first sung on a radio show in 1934. Shortly after the song became a huge hit and throughout the years there have been several variations and artist renditions. The song was so popular that Rankin/Bass Productions Inc. decided to create a stop motion animation based on the song in 1970. The whimsical story of how Santa Claus came to be was narrated by the great Fred Astaire and also became so popular that it is still aired on TV to this day; becoming a honored tradition for families to watch during the holiday season.

Throughout the centuries colors have influenced an immeasurable amount of occurrences. For instance ancient cultures practiced Chromotherapy where they believed that by using colors and light they could balance an individual's energy or even heal them. Some alternative medicine organizations still use this technique today as a holistic form of treatment although it is not a proven method.
